There are two release periods per year across the entire European Medicine Verification System (EMVS). One in the spring and one in the autumn. This includes updates to the European Hub as well as the national medicine verification systems of both Arvato Systems and Solidsoft Reply. Before each release, a number of tests are performed, including IT acceptance tests (ITAT) and user acceptability tests (UAT), as well as interoperability tests (IOT), if applicable.

In connection with each release, you as an IT supplier get access to an updated External Release Note (ERN) and IQE environment with a description of upcoming updates as well as the opportunity for testing. You will receive the ERN approx. 1 month before access to the IQE environment and access to IQE is given approx. 11/2 months before the update of the production environment. Furthermore, our supplier Solidsoft Reply will hold an online session with a review of the upcoming changes and Q&A session. You are invited to these through the DMVO-secretariat.
