IT Suppliers
Preventing falsified medicines from entering the Danish market requires a well-functioning and strongly connected medicine verification system. Wholesalers and pharmacies in Denmark are connected to the European Verification System (EMVS) through the Danish Medicine Verification System (DMVS) via their own IT systems. As an IT supplier of these, you have an important role in ensuring that the integration between all actors in the supply chain remains compatible with the current supported API versions, and that any incidents are responded to quickly.
At European level, there are three approved suppliers of the national medication verification systems; Arvato Systems, DocaPoste and Solidsoft Reply. The supplier of the Danish medication verification system is Solidsoft Reply (SSR).

In addition to certification when integrating a new end-user system into DMVS, re-certification of existing IT suppliers is carried out approx. every 2-3 years or if major updates are made to either the verification system or the individual end-user system.
