Purpose and legal basis
DMVO only stores and processes the information necessary to fulfill our purpose: to establish, manage and operate a national data storage system, in accordance with the requirements of EU law.

What information is collected?
When you enter into a contract with DMVO and/or apply for access to DMVS or NMVS Alerts, we collect the following information:

  • End users: Information about the contact person assigned to the administrator role, as well as any other users the administrator registers. This includes the name and address of the organization (e.g., pharmacy), name, email, and other necessary contact information.
  • Suppliers: Information about the contact person(s) at the supplier, including name, title, work-related contact details and any payment information.

Purpose of processing
We process data in order to:

  • Entering into and managing contracts
  • Assign Secure Access to DMVS or NMVS Alerts
  • Handle communication with the data subjects

Legal basis
The treatment is based on:

  • Performance of contract
  • Legal obligation
  • Consent (where applicable, e.g. in the case of marketing or cookies)

Retention period
Information is only stored for as long as it is necessary to fulfill the purpose or according to legal requirements.

Your rights
You have the right to:

  • Insight into the information we process about you
  • To have incorrect information corrected or deleted
  • To object to or restrict processing
  • To receive your information in a structured format (data portability)
  • Withdrawing consent (if processing is based on consent)
